The LISA Mission has been selected by ESA as a large-class L3 mission, searching for low-frequency gravitational waves in the next decades. To demonstrate the feasibility of the mission, LISA Pathfinder was launched as a proof-of-concept mission, exceeding its requirements and giving green light to LISA. In this talk, I will give an overview of the mission and present what kind of research is being carried out at the UTN LISA Group, with a particular highlight on the current activities on LISA Pathfinder.
