Louise Wolswijk

Louise Wolswijk (aka Wies) is a PhD student of 34° cycle who works in the Ultracold Quantum Gases lab of the BEC Center. Of Dutch origins, she comes from Tuscany, where she studied in Florence before moving to Trento. In the lab she uses laser light and magnetic fields to cool atoms to ultralow temperatures and produce degenerate quantum gases.In her free time she likes to swim and row in the lake, to dance balfolk, to paint and to go hiking in the mountains.
